GREEN BEANS ALMONDINE
2 pounds green beans, ready to cook 2 cups chicken stock Sea salt, to taste Freshly ground pepper 4 ounces unsalted butter ½ cup toasted slivered almonds Serves 8 to 10 Add beans to saucepan with chicken stock, cover and simmer until desired crispness. Drain. Toss with butter, salt, pepper, and almonds.
